For the exhibition Autour de Pierre Cabanne, Guillaume Sébastien gathers works from more than thirty artists associated with the critic, some renowned: Arman, César, Marcel Duchamp, André Marfaing ou Jean-Pierre Raynaud, others less well-known but whose work he promoted with equal enthusiasm: Claude Bellegarde, Paul Guiramand, José Subira-Puig, Michel Tourlière… Each work is accompanied by an enlightening text by Pierre Cabanne.

Artists support Action against Hunger by donating works (paintings on porcelain plates) for auction. Proceeds go to Action Contre la Faim (ACF), an international relief and development organization. The auction will take place December 20th in Paris at Hôtel Dassault, 19h30. However, the works can be viewed on the official ACF web site and are also open to online bids.

Claude Bellegarde was a guest lecturer at the two day seminar December 2006, organised by the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA), in partnership with the International Association of Art Critics (AICA) and the Archives de la critique d’art . The seminar brought together artists, academics and critics from Europe and the Americas, to examine the various aspects of Pierre Restany’s long career, as poet, critic and promoter of contemporary art, architecture and design. www.aica-int.org

Déplacement d’espace Temps F - Displacement of space, a large crushed paper work from 1957, now hangs in the recently opened Musée d’Art Contemporain in Vitry. The work was acquired in 1995 by the museum's founder Raoul Jean Moulin
